The Jain family originally started the Siddho Mal & Sons paper trading firm in the early 1930’s, with the import and marketing of paper of the then British owned paper mills & their managing agents in Calcutta.

The firm was a pioneer and gradually became a leading trading house in paper and pulp from all over the world, including Sweden, Finland, Canada, New Zealand & USA. Imported aper, newsprint and wood pulp were supplied to leading newspapers and publishers throughout India through them.

As independent India started its journey of industrialization, the company took a progressive leap to diversified into industry in the area of Industrial Gases, under the name of Industrial Oxygen Co. Ltd..

The company grew for over 30 years and was subsequently turned into a Joint Venture with Air Products of USA. It now runs under the name of Inox Air Products Pvt. Ltd.
